Canon EOS R100 Mirrorless Best Budget Camera

Photo quality is poor. This is advertised as beginner friendly… I have tried shooting in lower and higher light settings, different camera shooting settings, and still my photos a blurry. The quality is worse than my iPhone 11 – I can’t even use the photos as background pictures without them being visibly grainy.Does someone have an answer for this?

Buena cámara para iniciantes de fotografía, pero comentaré algunas de sus limitaciones.- Se puede usar como webcam, pero su app solo permite calidad HD, 1024×768 pixels, un celular cualquiera puede hacer mejor trabajo.- No tiene estabilización en el cuerpo de la cámara, y las lentes RF con estabilización son muy caras.- Las lentes RF tienen muchos defectos ópticos y esta cámara no hace corrección de todos ellos, por ejemplo: no corrije la viñeta de mi rf 16mm.- No se puede conectar de forma inalámbrica a equipos de flash, necesitarás uns transmisor para usar flashes fuera de la montura.- No se pueden personalizar todos los botones y por más que sea RF, no reconoce el control ring de todas las lentes del modelo.- Aunque tenga conexión USB-C, no la puedes cargar por cable usb, solo con cargador externo, entonces es bueno invertir en una batería extra.

Don’t use off brand batteries. I bought this camera through Amazon’s ‘Renewed’. Their standards indicated that it was in ‘Excellent’ condition, meaning no visible scratches or other defects when viewed from 12 inches away, and the battery charging to at least 80%, being sold for $401 (brand new, the kit sells for $499). The camera is indeed very nice and takes beautiful pictures; and everything came neatly wrapped and packaged in the original kit box. However, the provided battery and charger (‘Halcyon’ brand, NOT Canon) are garbage. The charger lights up green after only 1/2 an hour or so, and the camera’s on-screen battery indicator indicates the same – that it’s fully charged. *Goes from ‘fully charged’ to dead in just minutes (!)*; no warning at all. Pretty sure it’s the battery, not the camera – otherwise, why wouldn’t it take much longer for the charger to say it’s ‘good to go’ after it was fully discharged (I’ve had issues with digital cameras in the past not working well with off-brand batteries, even *new*, that weren’t holding charge). Don’t buy this camera used from Amazon unless they can guarantee that you’ll get a good battery and charger along with it; it’ll likely be cheaper in the long run to buy it new with authentic accessories already in the box.

Very nice APS-C mirrorless camera. Great value. I really like the camera. However, I would recommend buying the body and lens(es) separately. The kit lenses are quite good, whether you get the 18-45mm or the dual lens kit that adds the 55-210mm. However, I think buying the body, then adding the RF-S 18-150mm lens is a better setup for most people.The 18-150mm is more versatile, covers most of the zoom range of the two lens kit, and his larger optics with lower F-stops throughout it’s zoom range. Yes, you’re going to spend a little more doing that vs either of the kits, but you get simplicity, versatility, and the extra light gathering capability of the larger optics.

Great compact camera for traveling. The product was shipped from the seller promptly and arrived as advertised. I only purchased one lens for the EOS R100 and I would definitely recommend spending the extra money and getting the option with two lenses. I purchased the second lens separately after receiving the camera and could have saved myself some money by purchasing it at the time I purchased the camera.
